The interoperability challenge
The Energy domain is facing an incredible disruption : the need, for optimal operation, of making many stakeholders of many kinds exchanging data with rates reaching the real time. This concerns up to millions of equipment and the traditional way of asking system integrators performing at the time of commissioning the semantic alignment between data coming from different equipment to ensure a real interoperability is no more reasonable.
The only way to proceed is to implement a semantic interoperability by design.
International standards:
the way to go
As for human, semantic interoperability requires the use of the same semantic convention to apply between machines expressing needs for data exchange,.
This means relying on international standards for applying the same convention between stakeholders.
